This is one of a series of works proposed for the banks of Waiwhetu Stream. The works are to reflect the industrial heritage of the area, its Maori history and its rejuvenation now the stream has been cleaned. The work was purchased in 2014 from the ShapeShifter Exhibition. The artist is David McGill.
The stone is Andesite, from Taranaki, the original home of the Hutt Valley Te Atiawa Iwi.
